Syllabus: Tony Jack

In this new occasional feature, we’ll look at the syllabus for a current class at the Ed School and ask the professor to share some of the books they are having their students read. Up first: Assistant Professor Tony Jack’s spring course, A705: C.R.E.A.M.: Class and Culture at U.S. Colleges and Universities. Selected books from the syllabus include:

The class also created a shared Spotify list that includes songs connected to the themes of home, mobility, and education. Songs on the playlist included Mama Said by the Shirelles, Coat of Many Colors by Dolly Parton, and Crown by CHIKA.
