For 23 years, Teach For America has been recruiting high-achieving recent college graduates to its teaching corps in an effort to reduce educational inequity in the United States. In 2013, Wendy Kopp, cofounder of TFA, stepped down as CEO of the organization to become chair of the board, and also to concentrate on her work at Teach For All, a global network of social enterprises inspired by TFA to do similar work in their own countries. In this edition of the EdCast, Kopp, CEO and cofounder of Teach For All, candidly reflects on her experiences leading Teach For All and Teach For America, and shares her thoughts on the future of both organizations.
