The Chronicle Features Ed.D. Student's Research

The Chronicle of Higher Education is featuring today new research by HGSE doctoral student Michael Hurwitz shows that the impact of legacy in the admissions process if far greater than previously believed. As reported by The Chronicle, the research indicates that applicants who have a legacy connection have a nearly 25 percentage point boost in likelihood of admissions compared with a similarly situation student who does not have a legacy connection.
