Leaving to LearnIn their new book, Leaving to Learn: Designing a Student Experience that Reduces Dropouts and Produces Deep Engagement in Learning, Elliot Washor, cofounder of Big Picture Learning, and collaborator Charlie Mojkowski explore the reasons kids drop out of school and how to to develop productive learning environments for adolescents. They will be at HGSE on Thursday, March 28, to discuss how out-of-school learning increases student engagement and reduces dropout rates.
