HGSE has made the difficult decision not to accept doctoral applications for fall 2021 enrollment. We are pausing admissions for our fully-funded doctoral programs in order to uphold our commitment to maintaining program quality and strong support for our current students. At this time, the next application cycle is expected to have a December 2021 application deadline for fall 2022 enrollment. Throughout his career he has maintained a focus on serving low-income, traditionally disadvantaged student populations with an emphasis on access, equity, and success. Having served as a k-12 and college counselor, he is especially interested in increasing college going and persistence rates for young men of color.

He is interested in diversifying the teacher pool, expanding leadership development for teachers, and integrating community members into school and education strategy.
