Zid Mancenido is a classroom teacher, teacher educator, and education researcher with experience working across research, practice, and policy in Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, and the U.S. He is currently senior manager (Research and Evaluation) at the Australian Education Research Organization, where he leads a team of practitioners, researchers, and policy analysts to generate high-quality evidence, make high-quality evidence accessible, and enhance the use of evidence in Australian education. Mancenido is also a lecturer on education at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), where he teaches in the Foundations course, Evidence. Having started his career as a high school social sciences teacher in Canberra, Australia, his personal research focuses on issues related to teacher recruitment and teacher education, with a particular interest in problems of research design, measurement, and evaluation. He holds a Ph.B. (Honors) degree from the Australian National University; an MTeach (Secondary) from the University of Melbourne; and an Ed.M. in education policy and management and Ph.D. in education policy and program evaluation from HGSE.
