She’s held senior management positions in a global edtech startup serving universities in Asia, North/South America, and Europe, then at a top 5 global IT/management consulting firm where she led teams to design, pilot, and launch innovative solutions. As director of digital strategy at Harvard University, she piloted new digital tools/training in multiple departments to take fuller advantage of emerging technologies. McCabe founded her own venture, StoryEdge, in 2017 to foster civil/social awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset through interactive learning experiences. As director of strategic planning at the Harvard X-Media Lab, she launched the X-Media Incubator in March 2020 to help students reimagine cross-media projects as new products/new ventures.
McCabe earned her B.A. in English and communications at Boston College. She earned her Ed.M. in the Technology, Innovation, and Education (TIE) Program at HGSE in 2018.
