Jacqueline Zeller

Jacqueline Zeller earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia. She is a licensed psychologist, school psychologist, school counselor, school adjustment counselor/school social worker, and elementary education teacher. Her clinical interests focus on prevention and intervention efforts in schools and promoting resiliency in children. She has worked as a therapist in a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers, day treatment centers, outpatient clinics, hospitals, and schools. Zeller worked as a psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and held an appointment as an Instructor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School. In addition, she has served as a consultant to schools serving preschool through high school-aged students. Zeller's research and consultation work has focused on understanding factors that contribute to the quality of teacher-student relationships, supporting teachers' efforts to promote responsive relationships with their students and positive classroom communities, programming to help parents' support of their children's social-emotional and academic growth, supporting school-based mental health professionals’ work in the schools, and facilitating workshops focused on practitioners' self-care. Zeller is part of the core teaching faculty at the Harvard Graduate School of Education's Human Development and Education and C.A.S. in Counseling Programs, where she teaches graduate courses relating to school counseling, consultation, and self-care. She also coordinates school-university partnerships.
