Drew Echelson is adjunct lecturer on education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Echelson started his career in education as a City Year corps member in Boston and then as a teacher in the Hartford, Connecticut Public Schools. He has served as a senior level leader for several schools districts across the country including as Network Superintendent in the Boston (MA) Public Schools and as the Superintendent of Schools for the Waltham (MA) Public Schools for four years. Echelson completed his undergraduate work in the Honor's Program at the University of Connecticut in Sociology with a focus on African-American Studies and earned an Ed.D. at HGSE.
