Adam Parrott-Sheffer serves as the strategy advisor to Harvard’s Data Wise Project and is co-chair of the Data Wise in Action and System Wise Institutes. He is an award-winning special education teacher, principal, and district administrator for early childhood and multilingual learners who has worked in neighborhood, charter, and independent schools for over two decades. Currently he works with rural, urban, and suburban school and system leaders globally to improve learning through data, design leadership pathways with special attention to entry, and successfully execute strategy.
Parrott-Sheffer is co-author of Entry Planning for Equity Focused Leaders: Empowering Schools and Communities (2022) and System Wise: Continuous Improvement at Scale (2024) both published by Harvard Education Press. He holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois-Urbana, an MS.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.S. & Ed.L.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
