Program Overview

Cognitive scientist Dr. Tessa Forshaw,  and design educator Rich Braden, present a webinar grounded in the concepts of their book Innovation-ish: How Anyone Can Create Breakthrough Solutions to Real Problems in the Real World.

Innovation-ish shows how individuals across education and learning systems can develop the capacity to innovate—not through rigid processes, but through cultivating mindsets, taking small strategic actions, and building metacognitive awareness.

This webinar will explore how practical, everyday innovation practices can support how we innovate with AI in learning contexts. Participants will engage in real examples drawn from schools, universities, workforce development programs, and organizational learning initiatives.

“Innovation is more than just a skill; it is essential for leadership, citizenship, and navigating the future. At a time when educational systems are navigating deep complexity, Innovation-ish offers a clear, grounded, and inspiring approach.”
