Christine Reich is an educator, social science researcher, and former museum executive who has served as an adjunct lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education for ten years. She is currently CEO at Knology, a social science research nonprofit that works collaboratively with media, libraries, museums, and community-based organizations to conduct practical social science for a better world. As Knology’s CEO and Senior Research Officer, she is responsible for directing the organization’s research agenda and its transdisciplinary team of researchers. As a researcher, she has published on a wide range of topics, including organizational learning, emotional engagement, and inclusive informal science learning. A strong advocate for inclusivity, she was honored as a "Champion of Change" by the Obama White House, and as a fellow by the Noyce Leadership Institute.
Prior to joining Knology, Reich was the chief learning officer at the Museum of Science (Boston), where she oversaw the museum's learning-focused efforts (exhibits, programs, curriculum, immersive theaters, collections, accessibility, and educational research). Her work in museums continues through the partnerships Knology has with multiple museum organizations, and through her current position as Incoming President of the Visitor Studies Association.
