Next Level Entrepreneurship

How does one build off of a good idea? That is the question that HGSE's new professional education program hopes to answer. Designed for those looking to extend the reach of their businesses, Scaling for Impact will provide education leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs with an existing venture the tools and strategies needed to scale, adapt, and sustain their projects.

"When we find that there are solutions to some of the most pressing problems in education that actually seem like they have larger appeal and potential," says Professor Monica Higgins, faculty chair of Scaling for Impact, "we like to figure out how to help those organizations, those initiatives, those programs really scale."

In this edition of the Harvard EdCast, Higgins discusses what can be expected from the new program — being held at HGSE March 9–11, 2016 — and why helping organizations scale is so important to the field of education as a whole.
