What the NFL Can Teach Teachers

Does the culture of The National Football League and how NFL teams use data and evaluate performance hold lessons for classrooms? Football often implores consistent and constant methods of evaluation in practice and in the games, as opposed to schools where most often reflections are made at the end of a term. And in the NFL what success looks like is clear, unambiguous, and rigorously enforced. An NFL coach, a former player, and national teacher-quality expert discussed what the teaching profession can learn from the National Football League. This event was held on Monday, April 2, 2012.
