College and University Presidential Leadership Programs

At the Harvard Institutes for Higher Education, our Presidential Leadership portfolio provides a rare opportunity for college and university presidents and chancellors to prepare for and reflect on their presidencies, formulate future plans, and gain practical insights into important topics in higher education.

These programs provide an immersive and engaging learning environment, one that provides meaningful opportunities to connect with an extraordinary peer group of presidential colleagues. They include:

Harvard Seminar for New Presidents
This seminar will provide a practical orientation to their presidency, familiarizing new presidents with the opportunities and hazards they will likely face. This seminar will help them to respond to multiple responsibilities as they step into their new role. Apply →
