Michael HitchcockIn April, HGSE’s student organization on International Higher Education and Disability hosted the symposium, "The Power of Portrayal: A Panel Discussion on the Image of People with Disabilities in the Media." The panel -- which included actor and writer Michael Hitchcock, a writer and producer on Glee -- will address the impact of media images of disability on the educational, psychological, and social development of students.

In this edition of the Harvard EdCast, Hitchcock shares his behind the scenes perspective on writing student storylines and prosocial messages for the popular school-based show.
