PPE Honored for New Marketing Campaigns

Harvard Graduate School of Education's Programs in Professional Education won three awards this year from the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA) for its new marketing campaigns: a bronze award in "Interactive Marketing: E-communication" for its e-mail campaigns, a silver award in "Print Advertising, 1 or 2 colors," for its "Join our Community of Learners" newspaper ad, and a gold award in the category "Campaign: Print" for its new print brochures. The UCEA seeks to advance university professional and continuing education.

"We are absolutely delighted. The marketing and enrollment team has put in tremendous energy over the past year to update how we are marketing our programs," said PPE Managing Director Jennifer Stine. "External recognition of the great work the team has done is very welcome and highly valued."

The University Continuing Education Association's Marketing and Publications Community of Practice sponsors competitions to recognize the best marketing practices and promotional pieces in the field of continuing education. UCEA's Marketing & Publications Awards recognize institutions and departments for outstanding marketing and promotion efforts. Awards are judged on how well each piece accomplishes its objective. Judges consider concept, writing, graphics, and overall integration. All factors are evaluated in the context of the purpose, content, and organization of the piece, including consistency between design, purpose, and effectiveness of marketing message.
