News Student Nonprofit Semifinalist in Pitch for Change Contest Posted February 17, 2010 By News editor Learning Through Libraries, a nonprofit started by Harvard Graduate School of Education students, has been selected as semifinalists in the Pitch for Change contest, which awards individuals and teams for their new social enterprise venture. Founded this year by HGSE students Jill Carlson, Nell O'Donnell, and Debra Gitler from the International Education Policy Program, Learning Through Libraries aims to increase access to books and improve the education in El Salvador.
