Student Nonprofit Semifinalist in Pitch for Change Contest

Learning Through Libraries, a nonprofit started by Harvard Graduate School of Education students, has been selected as semifinalists in the Pitch for Change contest, which awards individuals and teams for their new social enterprise venture. Founded this year by HGSE students Jill Carlson, Nell O'Donnell, and Debra Gitler from the International Education Policy Program, Learning Through Libraries aims to increase access to books and improve the education in El Salvador. A winner will be announced at the Social Enterprise Conference on February 27-28 at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School.
