Meet the Staff

The HGSE Financial Aid Office (FAO) is dedicated to the success of our students by providing accessible and inclusive financial aid, student support, and financial wellness services. The FAO will help students navigate the complexities of financing a graduate degree at HGSE and provide financial assistance and resources to help meet education expenses while supporting the recruitment, retention, and academic success of a diverse student body in accordance with all federal, state, and University policies and regulations. 

The HGSE Financial Aid Office seeks to create a culturally sensitive environment, while making available resources that allow all students the opportunity to achieve their educational goals through an ongoing commitment to our values: innovation, transparency, dignity, equity, and diversity. 

We strive:

• To create a welcoming, inclusive, and honest environment in which to discuss financial aid and personal financial matters.
• To provide prospective and enrolled students with comprehensive information regarding financial aid programs for graduate study, so they have the tools to make informed decisions about school enrollment and financing options.
• To enhance the student experience by offering financial wellness programs that help students achieve success beyond their time at HGSE.
• To review and analyze aid applications, and to award funding to eligible students using an equitable methodology in compliance with institutional and federal policies and regulations.
