Paulina Haduong is a fourth-year doctoral student in the Human Development, Learning, and Teaching concentration in the education Ph.D. program at Harvard. Her work is at the intersection of computer science education, creative production, and civic participation, exploring how young people learn to create digital media artifacts that help them communicate their ideas and participate in society. Through work with Karen Brennan in the Creative Computing Lab, her current research focuses on supporting K-12 teachers and students in "getting unstuck" (or debugging), as well as assessing creative programming work. Prior to starting her doctoral studies, she was a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard. Haduong also holds an Ed.M. in technology, innovation, and education from HGSE and a B.A. in linguistics from Yale University.
