Eliot James Graham

Eliot Graham is a National Academy of Education/Spencer Dissertation Fellow, and recently completed his Ph.D. in Education at Rutgers University. He is broadly concerned with issues of educational equity, particularly along the lines of race and class, and his current work in that area focuses on issues of authority in classrooms serving low-income students of color. Graham has also been involved in teaching courses for preservice teachers for nearly a decade. He has taught classes at Rutgers University and Harvard University including "Introduction to Education", "Individual and Cultural Diversity in the Classroom", and "Inquiries into Adolescence: Understanding and Supporting the Development of Urban Youth". He received his Ed.M. from HGSE and B.A. from Wellesley College.
