HGSE’s academic programs are enriched with innovative co-curricular experiences that build professional skills and leadership capacities. Students can choose from a range of vibrant learning opportunities, experiences, or events that will allow them to gain the tools they need to develop solutions, drive change, and manage complex and diverse education systems.
HGSE's co-curricular learning experiences give students fluency in skills as varied as negotiation, digital fabrication, and multimedia production. Students interact with high-impact scholars and changemakers through vibrant speaker series and applied learning experiences, uniting academic work with real-world challenges.
HGSE is committed to giving students the skills they need to work in highly diverse settings, leverage the added value of different experiences and perspectives, and become inclusive and equity-minded leaders. Students help shape this work, creating programming to raise awareness and build competencies.
Teaching and learning are the heart of what we do at HGSE — and what our students will do in the world. In addition to their academic coursework, students can delve deeply into their own practice, building skills in learning design, curriculum planning, classroom management, and much more.
