Welcome to VIEWS, the Web site for those at HGSE with interests in international education.
VIEWS is maintained by the Office of Student Affairs.
VIEWS provides:
- Mailouts to members about local events, conferences, internships, and job opportunities that pertain to international education.
- A schedule of upcoming conferences that address issues relating to international education.
- A forum for HGSE students and faculty members to disseminate their work through online paper posting.
- A range of links to web resources that include databases, international organizations and ministries of education.
About VIEWS:
- VIEWS is a Web site serving HGSE community members with interests in international education.
- The site was created in 2000 by three master's students who wanted to leave a legacy at HGSE. Their goal was to found one of the first virtual communities at HGSE.
- In 2003, VIEWS expanded its original focus on education in Latin America and the Caribbean to include education worldwide.
- Today VIEWS serves HGSE students and faculty with a broad range of interests in international education. At this time, VIEWS has members from 37 different countries.
Jennifer Chan and Shu-Ju Yang are the VIEWS Graduate Assistants in the Office
of Student Affairs.
