Taxi
Harvard Square is most easily accessible by cab. Instruct the driver to take you to Harvard Square at the corner of Brattle Street and Appian Way. From Points North of Boston
• Take Route 93 South into Boston.
• Take Storrow Drive-Cambridge exit. Follow Storrow Drive keeping to the right (along the Charles River), until the exit marked Harvard Square/Cambridge.
• Take a right and cross over the Charles River. You are now on JFK Street. Proceed straight through three sets of lights.
• At the fourth set of lights you will see a newsstand called Crimson Corner straight ahead. Go left at this light and get into the far right hand lane.
• Take your first right onto Brattle Street.
• The Appian Way will be the third street on your right. Parking can be found in several local garages. For a list of local parking facilities, visit our section on parking.

From Points South of Boston
• Take Route 3 North from the intersection with Route 128.
• Take the exit for Storrow Drive-Cambridge. Follow Storrow Drive (also at certain spots called Soldiers Field Road), keeping to the right (along the Charles River), until the exit marked Harvard Square/Cambridge.
• Take a right and cross over the Charles River. You are now on JFK Street. Proceed straight through three sets of lights.

• Take Route 90 (Mass Turnpike) East to the Cambridge-Allston exit (#18) and follow the signs for Cambridge.
• Bear right after toll booth at end of exit ramp.
• Proceed straight ahead through the first set of lights, and turn left (before the bridge) onto Storrow Drive.
• Follow Storrow Drive (also at certain spots called Soldiers Field Road), keeping to the right (along the Charles River), until the exit marked Harvard Square/Cambridge.
