Data Wise Impact Workshop: Collaborating to Take Our Work to the Next Level
Spring 2013
What You Will Learn
Learn how to fine-tune your current Data Wise practices and protocols to increase the impact on learning, teaching and school culture. The program provides an opportunity to receive feedback from faculty and colleagues on how to take your work to the next level.
Program Overview
Have you and your school or district team been integrating the Data Wise Improvement Process into daily work? This program will enable you to share your expertise and build on the experience of other schools to more effectively meet your goals and objectives. Participants in the Data Wise Impact Workshop will be both learners and teachers of Data Wise concepts and practices, working closely with peers to develop and refine strategies for integrating the process into their communities. As a participant, your work will begin roughly two months prior to the institute, when your team will be assigned a graduate student to help you review and prepare your work for your time on campus. During the program you will explore effective practices as well as the challenges and rewards of using data wisely through case studies presented by schools actively engaged in this work, large group presentations and discussions, and focused small group exchanges with colleagues.
