News Features & ReleasesGardner Receives Honorary Doctorate from South Korean UniversityPosted: September 19, 2007Professor Howard Gardner was awarded an honorary Doctor of Education degree from South Korea's Hanyang University this past July. “I was very moved to receive an honorary degree from Hanyang University, a widely recognized institution of higher learning that values the arts and education, and to have a chance to interact with colleagues from those and other fields,” Gardner said. “Colleagues in Korea have taken my work in education seriously over the years, and this engagement with my ideas has been a wonderful reward in itself,” Gardner said, noting that his recent book Five Minds for the Future was translated into Korean only two months after its initial English release.
