• The Texas State Board for Educator Certification has created a one-year emergency teaching certificate to help school districts cope with the enrollment surge in Texas schools because of Hurricane Katrina evacuees. The new certificate, called the Hurricane Katrina emergency certificate, will be good for the 2005-2006 school year only. (more...)
