Current Exhibit: Paintings by John Wood

An erstwhile scientist with sporadic training in art, John Wood has been painting large representational canvases for the last five years. He has had three solo exhibitions, and his paintings hang in several private collections and in the Geosciences Department at Virginia Tech. His 48" by 30" portrait of young Franklin D. Roosevelt hangs in the suite occupied by FDR when he was a student at Harvard a century ago.
