Copying

Three photocopiers are available in Gutman: one on the first floor, two on the second floor. In addition, there are three microfiche/microfilm printers on the first floor. All copies cost ten cents. Change is available at the Circulation Desk. Photocopiers accept cash or Crimson Cash.

Computers

Gutman Library has over 40 PCs available to users. Computers allow Web access as well as Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Users requiring a zip drive, RealPlayer, or audio access via headphones should contact the Reference Desk to be directed to an appropriate machine.

Disks and CDs

Formatted disks and recordable CDs are for sale at the Circulation Desk ($1.00).

Discussion Rooms

Gutman offers four small discussion rooms on the second floor for use by HGSE students. Students may reserve a room for up to four hours at a time whenever the library is open (library hours). The reservation book is in the Administration Office Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm; otherwise it is kept at the Circulation Desk.

Fax

A fax machine is available for sending and receiving faxes. The service is available Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm. The cost is $1.00 per page. International faxes cost $3.00 for the first page; $1.00 for each additional page. Contact the Administration Office for more information.

Wireless Networking

Wireless networking is available to those with a Harvard ID and PIN. Some laptop configuration is necessary.
