Gutman Library for Cambridge College
Gutman Library welcomes you. This page provides information about using Gutman Library's resources and services.
Gutman's Collections
Gutman's collections support the research of HGSE faculty and students, and focus on educational administration and policy, elementary and secondary education, teachers and teaching, educational innovations, educational psychology, human development, language acquisition, and the history of education.
Students working in other subject areas should consult Cambridge College's Research by Subject Area Help web page. Gutman Research Services staff will also be happy to direct you to other area libraries.
Research Services at Gutman
We invite Cambridge College students to use services such as library tours and research consultations. Harvard Library provides access to thousands of online resources available to Cambridge College students, onsite, from Gutman library computers; Research and Instruction Services staff offer instruction in the use of these resources.

Access and Borrowing at Gutman
A Cambridge College ID allows access to Gutman Library whenever it is open. To borrow, you must apply for a Gutman Library Special Borrower's card. The application is available on the Cambridge College Online Library page in your MyCC portal account. Your card will be issued and mailed to you after Gutman receives your application verified by the Cambridge College Registrar. The card is valid for one year. Using other Harvard libraries
Your Gutman Special Borrower's card may be used for borrowing ONLY at Gutman. Please check the Harvard Library website for other Harvard libraries' visitor access policies.
