Yvette McNeal is assistant principal at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Teaneck, New Jersey. Her internship with Linda Nathan at the Boston Arts Academy during her year at HGSE gave her invaluable, practical experience in education administration, and her coursework in the Principal Certification strand of the School Leadership Program gave her a strong background in school law, school leadership, and special education. "Being a principal or assistant principal is a tough enough job. Without the School Leadership experience, the guidance of incredible professors, and a network of new friends from the program, I can only imagine how much more difficult it would be!"
