Matt Kernkraut

Matthew Kernkraut serves as the assistant director of capital giving for Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. In this capacity, he works with Harvard alumni, parents, and friends in New York City and the Southeast to maximize the impact of their philanthropic support and their relationship with Harvard. Matt joined Harvard development after completing the Higher Ed Program, first as a presidential fellow and then as a reunion class officer in the Harvard College Fund. Matt found the Higher Education Program to be "purposeful, fulfilling, and immensely rewarding," and credits it to exposing him to the "many stakeholders, trends, and future of the higher education landscape" as well as solidifying his interest in pursuing a career in higher education.
