Elizabeth González

Elizabeth González is the education outreach specialist at NASA Headquarters' Office of Biological and Physical Research. She was offered this position through the Presidential Management Internship Program. Elizabeth works to bring space research to all learning audiences in both formal and informal settings in the hope of inspiring and motivating the next generation of explorers. She is currently working specifically with nontraditional learners including Latino teachers and students and the homeschool community. "My time in the APSP (now EPM) Program allowed me to gain a more thorough understanding of the needs of underserved children and prepared me for a position as a program manager so I could really make some changes."
