Family Involvement Teaching
Cases
This section offers a selection of teaching cases related to dilemmas in family
educational involvement. Often based on a real-life situations, teaching cases
are written narratives of a dilemmas requiring resolution. The case method of
instruction aims to foster reflection and problem-solving skills among educators.
We encourage others to use these cases in their own teacher education courses
and training workshops, and welcome feedback to improve their effectiveness
as teaching tools.
Browse cases by subject matter below or see a list
of all cases.
In addition to these online teaching cases, we have also compiled a book of
cases, entitled Preparing Educators
to Involve Families: From Theory to Practice.
