Dr. Holly M. Kreider

Holly Kreider, Ed.D., is a Principal Investigator and Research Associate at
Harvard Family Research Project, where she has worked since 1992. She currently
manages research projects on family involvement in children's learning and children's
participation in after school activities. She also leads professional development
activities, including the development of professional institutes and research-based
training tools on family involvement in children's learning.
Holly is co-editor of a new book entitled Preparing
Educators to Involve Families (Sage Publications, 2005) and is co-founder
of the Family Involvement Network of Educators (www.FINEnetwork.org),
a national network of over 5,000 educators and other professionals committed
to engaging families in their children's education. She also serves on the faculty
at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she co-teaches a course on
nonschool supports for children's learning.
Holly received her Ed.D. from Harvard University in 1997.
