Josephine Kim earned a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from the University of Virginia (a CACREP accredited program) in May 2005. She is a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts and a national certified counselor. Her clinical skills and experiences span many contexts including residential facilities, hospitals, agencies, clinics, and schools. She has worked with varying multicultural populations through individual, group, and family counseling/therapy. One of her areas of special interest and focus has been on providing clinical supervision to graduate-level counselors-in-training, and a research focus of interest has been in the area of multicultural diversity.
