Drew Echelson started his career in education as a City Year corps member in Boston and then as a teacher in the Hartford, Connecticut Public Schools. Echelson has served as a superintendent for several schools districts in Massachusetts, and he is currently Superintendent of Schools for the Waltham Public School District. Echelson completed his undergraduate work in the Honor's Program at the University of Connecticut in Sociology with a focus on African-American Studies and earned an Ed.D. at HGSE.
