Alexis Morgan has spent the past ten years advocating for students with disabilities. She began her career as a special education teacher, before joining the New Jersey Department of Education as a State Interventionist/Special Education Specialist. Most recently she served in the role of Executive Director of Instructional Supports for the Office of Special Education for The Newark Public Schools in Newark, NJ where she lead a reform to increase the number of students in inclusive settings. Currently, Morgan is a doctoral candidate in the Ed.L.D. program at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
