Student-Alumni Mentoring Initiative (SAMI)
The Student-Alumni Mentoring Initiative strives to accomplish varying goals related to the establishment of mutually beneficial mentoring relationships among participants. The program requires students and local, Boston-based alumni to meet formally and informally throughout the academic year and the Alumni Relations office facilitates four structured opportunities for SAMI participants to meet on Appian Way.

Host an HGSE Student Intern
Hiring an intern can be a great way to connect with students and HGSE. The Field Experience Program is a unique for-credit internship program that will give you the opportunity to mentor a student, reconnect with current research and theory, and bring new ideas and experience to your organization. As part of the experience, we invite all FEP intern supervisors to a seminar a nice opportunity to be back on campus and meet with students along with other employers hosting interns. To learn how to post an internship or participate in our annual Internship Expo, please visit the employer section of the FEP site.
Share Your Ideas
We are always brainstorming new ways to engage our alumni community. In the current economic climate, we are especially interested in creative and low-cost options. If you would like to collaborate with our office on developing a unique event or networking idea, please contact us at 617-496-6305, or email us.
