Greetings Ed.L.D. Applicants!

Your graduate education is perhaps the biggest investment you will make in yourself.  As you consider your application for admission to HGSE, don't forget that early financial planning is also essential.  You want to get the best return on your investment and by using your personal resources and HGSE financial aid that investment can be extremely worthwhile.

If you are admitted to the Ed.L.D. program you also receive a fellowship that pays your full tuition and mandatory health fees for all three years of the program, along with stipend support to meet HGSE's estimate of living expenses for the first two years of the program.  The stipend is paid to you in monthly installments during the academic year so be sure to plan your budget accordingly.  In your third year you will undertake a paid residency with a partner organization.

Remember, the fellowship aid you receive in this program covers only your individual student tuition and health fees.  If you have a family additional planning is necessary.  Although you don't need to apply for financial aid to receive the Ed.L.D. fellowship funding we can help if you need to borrow federal loans to help pay for dependent care costs such as health insurance or child care.

The Ed.L.D. program is an exciting new offering at HGSE, and it's funding program reflects our commitment to prepare leaders who will transform education in the United States and beyond.  Students from across the globe attend HGSE to study at the nexus of practice, policy and research.  The HGSE Financial Aid Office looks forward to helping you make an impact in the world.
