2009-2010 New Applicants or Returning Students to a new Degree Program

(U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents)

  • The 2009-2010 HGSE Financial Aid Application (1.7MB pdf) must be postmarked by February 6, 2009 and should be mailed directly to the HGSE Financial Aid Office. Applicants need to complete the Financial Aid Application in order to activate their financial aid file. You can download a copy of the application or you may contact the Financial Aid Office to request that it be mailed to you.
  • File your FAFSA on-line!The 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available starting January 1, 2009 and is due by February 6, 2009. It is submitted online, directly to the Federal Processing Center. When completing the FAFSA, please note that parental information is not required. If you have not yet received your W-2 forms prior to completing the FAFSA, please estimate your income to the best of your ability; we will update your record upon receiving your tax return. To ensure that the FAO receives a processed copy of your document from the Federal Student Aid Programs, please make sure that you list our full school name and address in the appropriate space on the FAFSA, as well as our Federal Institution Code (E00213).
  • A signed copy of your 2008 Federal Income Tax Return (including all Schedules) & copies of all 2008 W-2s and 1099 Tax Forms (include spouse's if applicable) must be postmarked by March 6, 2009 and mailed to the HGSE Financial Aid Office. Married students must submit their joint tax return, or, if filing separately from their spouse, need to submit their spouse's tax return as well. Students not filing a tax return will notify the HGSE Financial Aid Office on their HGSE Financial Aid Application. If you file your taxes using the telefile or any electronic system, you MUST provide us with a printed copy of the return (please be sure to sign and date this return).
