Does HGSE offer internship opportunities?

Yes. The Field Experience Program (FEP) is an internship-for-credit program open to all students at HGSE. This custom-designed course provides the opportunity to conduct research, develop new skills, apply theory to practice, and explore different kinds of work.

The partnership between the FEP Office and Career Services Office (CSO) helps to connect students and internship sites. These sites range from schools, colleges, and public agencies, to museums, private corporations, non-profit organizations and other professional settings.

Does HGSE provide career counseling? 

Yes. All services sponsored by HGSE's Career Services Office support building individual life career strategies and guiding students to their full leadership potential. Orientations, workshops, and information sessions prepare students to take full advantage of all our services to help design fulfilling career paths.

Because the Career Services Office believes that career management emphasizes long-term planning over the immediate one-time hire, students are encouraged to connect with the CSO as early as the summer before their academic year. Incoming students are offered an exclusive online career workshop over the summer that assists with both short- and long-term career planning.
