Alumni Ambassadors

Connect with an Alumni Ambassador

Our Admissions Ambassador Program provides opportunities for you to connect with Alumni Ambassadors to hear about the HGSE experience firsthand. You can also connect with alumni to learn about where an HGSE degree can take you.

The HGSE Admissions Ambassador Program features over 100 alumni from every degree program who are happy to communicate with prospective students over email or by phone.

We invite you to request a connection with an Alumni Admissions Ambassador via email. To do so, please complete the ambassador request form. You will receive an email from ambassadors@gse.harvard.edu, introducing you to an alumnus/a aligned to your preferences. Please note that it could take up to one week to respond to your request.

Due to the small size of the cohort and the high level of interest, we are unable to accommodate requests to connect with doctoral alumni. Doctoral students, however, will be represented at various on and off campus events and virtual sessions throughout the year.

Referrals of Prospective Applicants

HGSE alumni, current students, and friends of HGSE play an integral part in our efforts to find talented individuals for our degree programs. We invite you to refer potential candidates to the Admissions Office. To do so, please complete the referral form and include any relevant details (e.g., your name and graduation year, if applicable, and the candidate's name and program of interest). We will then add the prospective student to our database, send a personalized email outreach message, and confirm for you that your referral was received.
