On-Campus Opportunities

HGSE Viewbook – Learn more about our program offerings, faculty, students, and career outcomes by perusing this comprehensive publication.
Small Group Sessions – These informal, hour-long sessions with an Admissions representative provide a broad overview of HGSE’s programs and application process with ample time for Q&A.
Saturday Sessions – Much like our off-campus information sessions, these two-hour long events feature a presentation by Admissions and Financial Aid representatives and Q&A with students, staff, and/or alumni.
One-on-One Appointments – For those who have highly-specific needs, interests, and questions related to HGSE degree programs, we offer 20-minute meetings with an Admissions liaison.
Class Observations – Offered in the fall and spring semesters, class observations provide prospective students with first-hand experience of academic life at HGSE.
Open Houses – HGSE’s evening and daylong Open Houses provide a unique window into the community. Faculty members, administrators, alumni, and current students offer insight into our academic programs, student life, career planning, admissions, and financial aid.
Diversity Recruitment Program – For 22 years, this daylong program has been bringing together prospective students from diverse backgrounds to learn more about the vibrant community at HGSE.

Information Sessions – These two-hour long events include a formal presentation on HGSE's master's and doctoral programs, hosted by Admissions representatives, with time for Q&A.
One-on-One Appointments – For those with specific interests and questions about HGSE’s degree programs, we offer 30-minute, in-person meetings with an Admissions liaison.
Idealist.org and Graduate Fairs – Meet Admissions representatives and alumni from HGSE to explore your interest in our graduate programs.

Virtual Opportunities

Virtual Campus Tour - Explore HGSE's campus and beyond in this interactive walking tour. Current HGSE students and alumni provide an insider's look at the classrooms and facilities located in the heart of Harvard Square.
Virtual Information Sessions – These online sessions, hosted by Admissions staff and degree program representatives, provide prospective students with an opportunity to learn about HGSE using web conference software.
Online Diversity Chats - Do you have a quick question about diversity and student life at HGSE? Stop by one of our informal online sessions to hear more about our community.
International Opportunities
HGSE is connecting with prospective students across the globe!
International Information Sessions – For those who are living or studying abroad, local alumni host these events in various international cities. Each session is approximately one hour in length and provides an opportunity to learn from an admissions representative about our academic programs, student life, fellowship and financial aid opportunities, and the application process, while also engaging with HGSE alumni.
