Admissions Calendar of Events

The Admissions Office offers a variety of ways for you to speak with not only the staff, but also with other members of the HGSE community. View all of our upcoming on-campus, off-campus, and virtual events by date on our Events Calendar.

Information about additional opportunities to connect with us is posted below. We encourage you to consider all available options in order to find one that will meet your needs and your schedule.

On-Campus Opportunities

Visit HGSE to participate in a variety of on-campus opportunities and get to know our community firsthand. We offer one-on-one appointments with Admissions Liaisons, small group sessions, monthly Saturday morning information sessions from September through November, and class observations during the academic year.   

HGSE also hosts a series of Open House events each fall, including one evening and one day-long Open House for those interested in any of our degree programs. We also host an annual Diversity Recruitment Program for prospective students from underrepresented backgrounds. 

Off-Campus Opportunities

This fall, HGSE representatives are traveling throughout North America to connect with you through Information Sessions, Graduate Fairs, and One-on-One Appointments. Locations, event details, and RSVP information are available on our schedule.  

International Opportunities

For those who are living or studying overseas, we offer some international recruitment events, which provide an opportunity for you to learn more about HGSE through a combination of a local reception and a virtual information meeting. Hosted by an HGSE alum, prospective students gather together at a local venue while Admissions representatives, faculty, alumni, and/or students engage with you through web conference software.

Virtual Events 

Our Virtual Information Sessions provide prospective students with an opportunity to learn about HGSE and its programs without having to leave their homes or offices. 

Meet Your Admissions Liaisons 

Each of our degree programs has a specific liaison in the Admissions Office with whom you are encouraged to contact via email or schedule a one-on-one appointment. While all Admissions staff members are available to speak with you, we encourage you to contact the liaison for the degree program that is of most interest to you. Students & Alumni Ambassadors 

Our Admissions Ambassador Programs provide opportunities for prospective students to connect with current students and alumni to hear their perspectives. To request contact with an Alumni Admissions Ambassador or a Student Admissions Ambassador, please email ambassadors@gse.harvard.edu and include any relevant details (e.g., degree level, program of interest, geography preference).
