Summer Component: June 13 - August 12, 2011

June 13 - 17, 2011	Orientation for new TAC/MCMS students
June 20 - July 29, 2011	Academic coursework.
July 6 - July 8, 2011	Meetings between Summer Mentors and Interns
July 11 - August 12, 2011	Cambridge Harvard Summer Academy. Teaching five mornings per week, for five weeks, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Fall Semester

Attendance at School Sites begins on September 6, 2011, and continues throughout the year.

August 24 - 30, 2011	HGSE Orientation
August 31, 2011	Classes begin
November 23 - 27, 2011	Thanksgiving vacation
December 2 , 2011	Last day of fall-term classes
December 12 - 20, 2011	Fall course exams
December 21, 2011 - January 22, 2012	Winter recess

January Term

Attendance at School Sites “ramps up” during January, from 2 days per week at the beginning of the month to 5 days per week by the last week of the month

January 2 - 6, 2012	Observation at urban school in local area
January 9 - 13, 2012	T-210X: Foundations of Urban Education

Spring Semester

Attendance at School Sites during full school day, Monday-Friday, beginning last week of January. Interns follow public school calendar, not Harvard's.

April 25 - 27, 2012	TEP Year-end component
