Adva Steiner, TAC, High School History

Facts:

Adva is originally from Israel but came to the United States when she was very young. She moved from one small town to another, from Elkhart, Indiana to Champaign, Illinois. Her thirteen years in Illinois included her undergraduate years at the University of Illinois, where she majored in Psychology and History. Adva Steiner After tutoring for seven years, Adva concluded that through the context of teaching, she could meet people and understand them in a unique way. She decided to become a teacher "because I believe that education is the root of power and I wanted to help students empower themselves to improve their world. I also think that learning is fun, and I want to share this with the students."
