MBE Highlights

MBE journal: The official journal of the International Mind, Brain, and Education Society, and the first journal devoted to making the latest research on biology and cognitive neuroscience, as it relates to learning, accessible to a broad range of educators.

IMBES conference: The International Mind, Brain, and Education Society held its inaugural conference, November 1-3, 2007, in Fort Worth, Texas.

MBE Useable Knowlege Conference 2004 "Mind, Brain, and Education" was a small working conference of researchers, policymakers, and practitioners that will synthesize insights from leading researchers proactively building linkages between biological/cognitive science and educational practice.

The 400th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences was celebrated with a meeting on Mind, Brain, and Education!
Organized by Antonio M. Battro (Academia Nacional de Educacion, Argentina), Kurt Fischer (MBE Director) and Pierre Lena (Universite Denis Diderot, Paris) work to join the gap to connect neuroscience and education was emphasized. Information on the conference, which took place November 7-11, 2003, in Vatican City, can be found here.
