Learning and TeachingDirector's MessageFrom Sally Schwager, the Learning and Teaching program director:
First, however, I should explain that as an historian of education, I spend many of my research hours looking for “clues” in documents not unlike this one (though generally mine are a from a previous century and live in archives rather than on the Web). And so it is with particular pleasure that I invite you to browse through the activities our program sponsors, to visit the courses in which our faculty and students work together, and to try to picture yourself in our midst to see if the L&T master's program might be an appropriate place for you to accomplish your educational goals. I think you will discover that our program provides a solid core of required courses as well as flexibility and a range of academic options to help educators address their intellectual and professional interests. We are a vital community of faculty and students who are engaged in multiple approaches to problem-solving and inquiry. I invite you to pose questions and share ideas with us. |
