Betsy Winslow, Ed.D.'04, Higher Education

Betsy WinslowBetsy's dissertation, Proposing Significant Organizational Change: A Case Study Examining the Views of a Cross-Section of Participants' Perspectives About Dartmouth's Student Life Initiative (16KB pdf), explores one institution's attempt to change student social life, drawing upon the literature on organizational change as a theoretical lens. Her committee included Professors Judith Block McLaughlin, chair, Eleanor Drago-Severson, and James Honan. Betsy currently serves as Director of the newly founded Cohen Leadership Development Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Prior to coming to Harvard, she worked as an Associate Director in Dartmouth's undergraduate admissions office, and taught English and coached at Nobles and Greenough School, the Salisbury School, the Loomis Chaffee School and Lebanon High School. Betsy did her undergraduate work at Dartmouth College and completed a Masters in Education (Ed.M.) at HGSE before moving on to doctoral study.
